Dr. Katherine Lopez obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2001 at Virginia Tech. She completed two additional years of post-doctoral training in small animal medicine and surgery at Georgia Veterinary Specialists and the University of Illinois. Her work experience has included emergency and critical care hospitals and family practice. She is adjunct professor for multiple veterinary technology colleges, mentoring new technicians in their professional development. Her practice philosophy is based in educating owners on their pets' conditions so that all care decisions are understood and made together as a team.
Dr. Marisa McNeil, a Coronado native, obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in California, one of the top rated veterinary schools in the U.S. Her work experience includes small animals and exotics with a focus on general health and wellness. She has a special interest in dentistry and internal medicine, specifically managing chronic disorders such as kidney disease, hyperthyroidism and diabetes. Marisa looks forward to meeting you and your fur babies and helping to provide excellent veterinary care to keep them healthy and happy throughout their life.
