We are excited to announce that the Purple Paws Pet Clinic has been awarded the American Animal Hospital Association’s top honor, AAHA accreditation — a distinction that only 15% of all animal hospitals carry!

This means that we have passed a rigorous on-site inspection and comprehensive evaluation that assess veterinary knowledge, equipment, practice protocols, patient and facility safety, and other key areas of pet health care. Our accreditation is a symbol of our commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care and client service in Coronado. Pets are our passion, keeping them healthy is our goal.

AAHHA ACCREDITATION: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORDINARY AND EXTRAORDINARY

The standard of veterinary excellence

Established in 1933 by leaders in the veterinary profession, AAHA is the only organization to accredit companion animal veterinary hospitals. To become AAHA accredited, companion animal hospitals undergo regular, comprehensive onsite evaluations by AAHA veterinary experts who evaluate each practice on more than 900 standards of veterinary care. Only 15% of veterinary practices in the United States and Canada) are AAHA accredited.

AAHA’s mission is to:

  • Enhance the abilities of veterinarians to provide quality medical care to companion animals
  • Enable veterinarians to successfully conduct their practices and maintain their facilities with high standards of excellence
  • Meet the public’s needs as they relate to the delivery of small-animal veterinary medicine

AAHA seeks to lead the profession in the provision of the highest quality of care for companion animals by improving standards of care, championing accreditation, and supporting our member practices in all aspects of this pursuit.
